- Tenders are invited for Design, Manufacturing, Supply, Installation, Testing & Commissioning 0f 2x8mvar Reactive Power Compensation Equipment at Jwaneng Substation 33kv Busbar and Associated Equipment A non-refundable tender documentation fee of Two Hundred and Fifty Pula (P250.00) or One Hundred and Twenty-five Pula (P125.00) for companies wholly owned by the Youth(evidenced through copy of identity card (omang) and share certificates) payable in cash at the Botswana Power Corporation Headquarters, Mache?ng? Way, Gaborone . Bidders are advised that there will be a compulsory site visit and the dates shall be advised, however site visit registration will be closed on 15 January 2021 at 1000 hrs. The site visit will be at Jwaneng 132/33kV Substation Site, situated within the Debswana Jwaneng Mine area at GPS Coordinates: 24°32`02.8"S 24°42`52.2"E. Bidders are notified that the closure of registration is to allow for the necessary COVID-19 protocols to be addressed and adhered to as well as security permits for entry into the secured mine area.
