- Tenders are invited for Locally Registered Non-Governmental and Faith-Based Organizations (NGOS/FBOSs) to Implement OVC Activities in 15 Districts Starting on 1 October, 2021. PART A: ANNOUNCEMENT AND KEY DATES RFP No: RFP-WEI-ICYD-21-05-001 Date of Issuance: 2 June 2021 Due Date for Questions: 9 June 2021 Closing Date: 30 June 2021 5:00PM EAT The ICYD Activity is an integrated program ensuring that Ugandan children and youth, especially the most vulnerable, receive the support and services necessary to lead resilient, healthy, and productive lives. ICYD is primed by the Education Development Center (EDC), with the Bantwana Initiative of World Education as the OVC lead. The ICYD OVC program aims to improve HIV and social protection outcomes for children and adolescents living with HIV and other highly vulnerable children through delivery of a comprehensive service package within a clinic-community referral network and case management approach. ICYD also delivers HIV and GBV prevention services using evidence- based curricula to in- and out-of-school 9-14-year-old children. ICYD works closely with clinic, education, community and government partners, especially at district level to ensure coordinated and quality service delivery. ● Demonstrate registration as a national or regional non-governmental organization (NGO) or faith based organizations (FBO) in Uganda; ● Have an established physical presence working in the targeted districts for at least one year (including a fully operational office in the targeted district); ● Have demonstrated experience delivering OVC comprehensive and prevention services under PEPFAR/OVC programming using evidence-based/USG- approved curricula ● Have experience delivering comprehensive services to children/adolescents living with HIV (C/ALHIV), sexual abuse survivors, HIV exposed infants, teen parents, and highly malnourished children. ● Have experience coordinating and delivering services across the HIV and GBV cascade within a robust clinic- community referral network using a case management approach ● Have experience managing USG annual grants of at least 250,000 USD ● Have proven evidence to observe NGO Code of Conduct.
