- Expression of Interest are invited for Mine and Supply Limestone to Morupule B Power Station Botswana Limestone Mining, Characterization and Supply for in-Furnance Sulphur Capture in Cfbc Condition at Morupule B Power Station (MBPS). The plant uses an ultra-high pressure CFB boiler manufactured under the cooperation between WUXI Huaguang Boiler Co., Ltd. and German LENT JES Company. The first unit was commissioned in 2012 and the fourth unit was commissioned during the last quarter of 2013. The power plant uses limestone (CaCO3) to trap sulphur dioxide gas and therefore reducing the SOx emission into the atmosphere and in order to meet the World Bank and national Air Pollution Emission Standards The Corporation will shortlist (pre-qualify) companies based on assessment of the received expressions of interest using the information requested above. Short listed companies or firms would be invited to tender for the required services by responding to a detailed Request for Proposal (RfP).
