Bosnia and Herzegovina has awarded a new environmental contract under the Air Quality Improvement Project, strengthening air pollution monitoring capacity in one of the countryβs most industrialised regions. The contract award notice, published on January 16, 2026, follows a Request for Bids (RFB) procurement process financed by the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD).
The contract covers the supply of measuring equipment to improve the air quality monitoring programme at monitoring stations across Zenica-Doboj Canton. The equipment will enhance data accuracy, coverage, and reliability for tracking key air pollutants, supporting evidence-based environmental management.
The contract duration is eight months, allowing for delivery, installation, and commissioning within the 2026 implementation cycle.
The contract has been awarded to E3 D.O.O., headquartered in Sarajevo.
