Description:
Tenders are invited for Asphalt Overlay of Khama Avenue in Lobatse Interested bidders may obtain further information and inspect the Bidding Documents at Department of Civil and Mechanical Engineering - (Road Works Division) located at Civic Centre, Plot No. 1062, Maokaneng East, Office No. T52, Lobatse Town Council. The collection of Tender Document after purchase shall be done at the same office during working days between 0730 hours and 1245 hours and from 1345 hours to 1630 hours from 31st August to 25th September, 2020. Preference shall be given to Economic Diversification Drive (EDD) registered companies in accordance with the turnover threshold preference margin and targeted groups (youth, women and people with disability) in accordance with the Local Procurement Policy preference margin where applicable. The bidder shall submit a copy of valid certificate of registration under the programme as per Presidential Directive CAB 11. Bidding Documents may be purchased by interested bidders from Civic Centre, Plot No 1062 along Baratani Road, Maokaneng East, Revenue Office No. 40, Lobatse T owm. Council during working days of0730 hours to 1530 hours upon payment of a non-refundable fee of BWP250.00 (Two I Iundred and Fifty Pula only) payable in cash. Youth owned companies shall purchase the document at P125.00 (One Hundred and Twrenty-Five Pula only) non-refundable and they shall show proof by National Identity Card (Omang) and Form of Directors or confirmation letter from Ministry of Youth Empowerment, Sport and Culture Development. The tender offers must be submitted at 1000 hours on 28th September, 2020 at Civic Centre, Plot No 1062, Maokaneng East, New` Office Block, First Floor, Office No. T49, Lobatse Town Council. Bids will be opened immediately thereafter in the presence of bidders wishing to attend the opening exercise at Civic Centre, Plot No. 1062 along Baratani Road, Maokaneng East, New Office Block, Ground Floor, Conference Room No. T19, Lobatse Tov/n Council. Late bids shall be rejected. Bids wall be opened immediately thereafter closing in tire presence of the bidder-s representatives who choose to attend at Civic Centre, Plot No. 1062, Baratani Road, Maokaneng East, Room No. T19, Lobatse Town Council at 1000 hours on 28th September, 2020. Note: The closing time for the tender is 1000 hours regardless of whether you w`ere in the queue for submission or in Council Premises.
