Botswana Power Corporation (BPC) invites the lodgment of Expression of Interest (EOI) from interested locally registered companies for the provision of Earth Moving and Mobile plant Maintenance and Repair Services as an on-site Contractor at the Morupule Power stations.Scope of 1. Morupule A&B Power Stations are thermal Power generation facilities owned by the Botswana Power Corporation (BPC) in Palapye, Botswana. Both power plants have a fleet of Mobile plant that is used in the power generation production cycle and the same is critical for ensuring the reliability, availability, and safety of the plant. 2. The equipment comprises of different makes and models ranging from Track Dozers, Articulated Dump Trucks, Heavy Duty Mobile Cranes, Water Bowsers, Loaders, Compact rollers, Vacuum trucks etc. See Annexure A for detailed list equipment.3. The service is for continuous operations (CONTOPS) as this equipment is used for coal stockpile management and management of ash silos that need continuous emptying during power generation.4. The Botswana Power Corporation herby invites eligible competent and experienced local registered service providers to indicate their interest in the provision of maintenance and repair services as an on-site Contractor at the Morupule Power stations.
