• Expression of Interest are invited for Provision of Virtual Botswana Human Resource Development Skills (BHRDS) Fair & Career Clinics The objectives of the Council are to: • Provide for policy advice on all matters of National Human Resource Development. • Coordinate and promote the Implementation of the National Human Resource Development Strategy. • Prepare the National Human Resource Development Plans. • Plan and advise on Tertiary Education Financing and Workplace Learning. SCOPE The scope of the services will include; Provision of a virtual platform, preferably software as a service for the Botswana Human Resource Development Fair & Career Clinics in lieu of the conventional physical fair which covered Gaborone for the Southern part of the Country, Francistown and Maun for the Northern and North Western parts of the country respectively but could not be done because of the COVID 19 protocols particularly compliance with social distancing regulation. The solution (software) should enable the following: 1. Cloud-based Software as a service that is customisable to the requirements of HRDC; 2. Interactivity of exhibitors, different sectors of the economy and attendants in particular prospective tertiary education learners, parents, career influencers etc. The learners must be able maneuver around the platform, interact with institutions, appreciate different academic programme offerings, chat with exhibitors, experts and select programmes of their choice and more importantly be able to make downloads and attach documents when they tender applications; 3. Provide for exhibitors` booths, video vault/depository, registration ability, log in, document downloads and attachments, run reports, show the number of visitors at a particular point etc; 4. Capability to function under an environment with less or inadequate internet to cater for learners in rural areas; 5. The solution should have reverse charging capability for users on sim card operated mobile networks; 6. Solution should be able to run on different operating systems of computers, tabs and smartphones (android and or IOS) and also have USSD compatibility.
