- Tenders are invited for Supply and Delivery of Tyres, Tubes and Batteries to Letlhakeng Sub-District Council. TENDER OFFERS ARE INVITED from Botswana registered companies for the supply and delivery of tyres, tubes and batteries to Letlhakeng Sub- District Council. This is a framework contract that will run from contract signing up to 31st March 2021 and it will run for period of year. The Procuring Department is Supplies, Letlhakeng - Mechanical Division. Preference will be made basing on Presidential Directive CAB II (A) 2010 on Economic Diversification Drive (EDD). If the bidder is a manufacturer, shall submit a copy of valid trading certificate of registration under the programme certified by the Issuing Authority. Bidders who are domiciled in Botswana must, in order to be considered for award of the contract, be appropriately licensed to trade, manufacture and/or supply the items sell such items according to the Local Authorities Procurement and Asset Disposal Act. Preference in accordance with the provisions of the LAP AD Act, 2008 shall apply to the contract as applicable to the Presidential Directive. Tenderer shall be registered with the Public Procurement and Asset Disposal Board in the following category: Code: 208 - Transport Equipment & Accessories, Sub-Code: 02 - General Spares and Accessories (including Tyres). The physical address for collection of Tender Documents is: Letlhakeng Sub-District Council, Transport Division located next to Supplies Warehouse. Documents may be collected during working days between 0730 hours and 1245 hours and from 1345 hours to 1530 hours effective 13th March 2020. A non-refundable tender fee of P150.00 (One Hundred and Fifty Pull only) payable in cash only made out in favour of Letlhakeng Sub-Distric Council should be made at Letlhakeng Rural Administration Centre; Revenue Office No. C.01 prior to collection of the Tender Document. Youth person will only pay 50% of the tender price upon producing ID and Share Certificate as proof of company ownership. Tender proposals should be submitted in one (1) sets; one (1) marked "Original" and three (3) marked "Copies" securely sealed and clearly marked Supply and Delivery of Tyres, Tubes and Batteries to Letlhakeng Sub-District Council", an( addressed to: Senior Assistant Council Secretary, Letlhakeng Sub-District Council, Private Bag 003, Letlhakeng, at LAP AD Office No. A.04, no later than 0900 hours on 30th March 2020 and will be opened on the same day at 0900 hours in the presence of bidders who may wish to attend their own expenses at Letlhakeng RAC, Chambers. The closing time for receipt of tender bids is 0900 hours on 30th March 2020.
