BOTSWANA POWER CORPORATION INVITES TENDERS FROM SUITABLY QUALIFIED COMPANIES FOR PROVISION OF DETAILED ENGINEERING DESIGN, PROCUREMENT, CONSTRUCTION AND COMMISSIONING OF THE NEW CHARLESHILL 2X10MVA 132/33kV SUBSTATION & TURN IN & OUT OF THE OMAERE-GHANZI 132kV LINE AND ALL ASSOCIATED WORKS. This tender is open to both citizen owned companies and non-citizen own companies. Non-citizen owned companies who wish to participate in this tender are required to sub-contract at least 40% of the value of the contract to 100% citizen owned companies. In line with statutory no. 23 of 2020 preference will be given to 100% citizen owned companies. Bidders should be registered with PPADB Works Contractors Code 02 (Electrical Engineering Works) Sub code 01(Electrical Installations) & Sub 02 (High Voltage Reticulation). Grade EA non-refundable tender documentation fee of Seven Thousand Five Hundred Pula Only (P7, 500.00) or Three Thousand Seven and Fifty Pula Only (P3, 750.00) for companies wholly owned by the Youth payable in cash at the Botswana Power Corporation Headquarters, Macheng Way, Gaborone is required upon collection of the ...
